Community Alliance South Australia
Community Alliance SA is voicing a widespread community concern that the current planning and development processes are secretive, lacking in transparency and accountability, overly legalistic, adversarial and actively shut out the voices of the communities who are most affected.
The aims and objectives:
- Campaign for ethical and transparent governance including the provision of genuine information to communities.
- Lobby for reform of planning, development and related legislation to ensure participative decision making with real community engagement.
- Lobby for sufficient resources for reform of compliance and enforcement of relevant legislation and regulations and procedures.
- Act as an advocate for residents’ associations and community groups in South Australia.
